Madhya Pradesh and Haryana declared as joint winners of 44th HFI Junior Boy’s National Handball Championship

The 44th HFI Junior Boy’s National Handball Championship concluded yesterday in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, with Madhya Pradesh and Haryana being declared the joint winners as the final match could not be completed due to the bad weather conditions.

Delhi won the silver medal, whereas host Tamil Nadu won the bronze medal.

The closing ceremony was attended by the Minister of School Education of Tamil Nadu, Mr. Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, HFI Secretary General Mr. Pritpal Singh Saluja, and others.

Top eight ranking teams:

Champion – Madhya Pradesh & Haryana

Silver Medal – Delhi

Bronze Medal – Tamil Nadu

5th – Punjab

6th – Jammu and Kashmir

7th – Maharashtra

8th – Bihar

The championship took place at S.B.I.O.A. Senior Secondary School, Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu, from 26 to 30 January 2023.
